What are you up to now?
I work for Hollybank Trust in Mirfield as a social care officer. I’m a youth worker for children with learning disabilities. It’s a really rewarding job.

Do you still live locally?
I live six doors down from my Mum on Thirlmere Road, Hanging Heaton. I haven’t gone far!

How old are you?
I’m 36.

Do you have any children?
I have two daughters, Lauren, 16, and Ellisia, 11. They both go to Earlsheaton High School, the same school as me.

What was your reaction at seeing your picture on our website?
Somebody rang me to let me know and I think it was my brother who got in touch with the Reporter. It was a surprise - I didn’t think it would come up again. I was shocked.

What are your memories of the Miss Enterprise competition?
I can’t really remember much about it - I can’t remember how far I got or anything. I’ve done a lot since then!

What made you enter?
I didn’t know about it - my mum entered me. I was fine about it though, I wouldn’t tell my mum off! She’s still got the picture up on her wall.
