When you set foot in the Kings Arms you take a step back in time, for this well-loved pub at Heath is thought to have been an inn since at least the second half of the 18th century.

The pub is a warren of small rooms with low ceilings, stone-flagged floors and old cast iron fireplaces, still lit by gas and linked by narrow corridors.

Anyone looking to enjoy a drink at the Kings Arms will be pleased to know that, in an era when too many pubs have disconnected their hand pumps, it remains committed to traditional cask ales.
