Wakefield's Deli-Central is a family run business led by Tony and Jean Sykes and their dedicated team of food lovers. Indeed Deli Central is a family business in more ways than one employing members from 3 families, Mothers, Fathers, Sons and Daughters a like!

Specialising in locally sourced produce, everything is freshly prepared on the day with home-baked cakes (also baked to order) and homemade soups sold alongside a menu of over thirty wholesome sandwiches designed to appeal to every taste. Deli Central even cooks its own beef on the premises!

Our Home-baked Scones have also built up quite a following in Wakefield City Centre. Freshly baked, Customers call in early to get them and say they are the best ever, especially when still warm and the butter melts into them.

We love to talk at Deli Central, and like to get to know our customers. As well as a good chat Deli Central customers also get the opportunity to browse the floor to ceiling shelves packed with pastas, pestos and sauces, chutneys, jams, biscuits and a varied selection of specially chosen wines so you can enjoy good food at home.

Deli Central has been nominated by our customers for the UKTV Local Food Hero competition for the past two years.
