A PARANORMAL investigation at Wakefield Theatre has uncovered spirits who walk the boards when night falls.
The Spookseekers team started their Hallowe'en adventure with a vigil and Ouija Board session on the stage.
According to Julie Staniland, paranormal investigater, some of the guests at the overnight event felt a cold rush of air on their hands, legs and arms.
She said: "We got the spririt of a lady called
Josephine that seemed to attach herself to a member of the Spookseekers
Team. Another guest then said that she saw a figure running across the
rear of the stage.
"We then moved the vigil to the upper circle area and did some glass
divination."
In the bar area a table was knocking with no explanation and one of the guests felt a strong presence on the second tier of the opera house in the right hand corner.
Steve Jones said: "I felt a spirit on stage of the name "Emma" with the year 1903 . I felt the spirit of a grumpy man associated with the ladder near the stage."
