Tobacco Plants from Terry's dad's allottment to make fags with.
Only found that they were not Baccy plants but young cabbages. Punishment
dished out to Terry and me for lagging behind when going to the
sports ground. Daddy Davis made us drink half a crate of milk between
us or have 6 of the best. We drank the milk and it was a struggle.

Worked
for my Dad in Photography, then 3 years in the RAF mostly in Egypt
Worked at the old headlands hospital for 1 year then worked for
29 years at Rockware Glass. Emigrated to South Africa for 2 years,
Managed a home safety programme for Wakefield Met for 18 months,Worked
at Lax and Shaws in Leeds for 2 years. Back to Wakefield Met as
a Smoke Contol Technician for 2 years, Then retired at 58 and enjoying
it. |
