About me: Im 26, born and bread in Wakefield and currently live in Alverthorpe. I've been singing for as long as i can remember and music as a whole plays a very big role in my life. Im a dj by night and work most of the popular bars on wakefield's famous "Westgate". I studied music at wakefield college about 10 years ago now! (as a drummer not a singer) Im a lover of all music with no real influences or favorites, i always find that question hard to answer!? The song i've chosen is Shine, the recent hit for the newly reformed "Take That". Its a nice upbeat catchy song and to be honest i thought most people would submit slow love songs and thought id open the competition up a bit!! LOL!

About me Hi my name is Carrie Winfield I am 17 years old, at the moment I am a student at York College studying performing arts. I've been singing, acting and dancing since I was 9 yrs old , I have been involved in various shows including two at the West Yorkshire Playhouse Leeds, one called Carnival Messiah, which is due to be performed again at Harewood House in September 07. It is my dream to sing and let people hear my music, the song I've sent is called "See U Later" and was co-written and produced by myself and my friend Lanre Philips who already is an assablished artist with a group called Sol (Sons Of Light). About me Hi my name is Rosie Doonan. I am a local lass from Wakefield brought up within a musical family, performed and sang from an early age playing and singing with soul band The Solicitors. After performing in a duo I am now trying to strike out on my own and currently recording my debut solo album. This track, Hold On, is one of my self penned songs, from my forth coming album, which maybe a little stark and moody in comparison to my other compositions, I hope you will enjoy. My influences range from the early singer song writers Joni Mitchell and Jeff Buckley to more modern artists such as Portishead, Scott Matthews and Laura Viers.
