How to vote
Voting lines have now closed. The winners will be announced shortly.
The Voice
vote lines open on July 25 - there are two ways in which you can vote:
By SMS
Simply text the keyword YWVOICE then a space followed by the competition number
of the Voice competitor you wish to vote for to 81800. Message texts are charged
at £1 plus your standard network rate and the line closes at midday
on August 13, 2008.
By Touch Tone phone
Simply dial 0901 2933114 and follow the instructions given. When asked to do so, use your telephone keypad to enter the digits of the competition number for band or solo artist you wish to vote for. One call allows you to cast one vote, although you can call as many times as you like. Calls are charged at £1 plus your normal call charge rates.

By supplying your telephone number you’re happy to receive SMS/MMS messages from Johnston Press plc, publishers of Hemsworth and South Elmsall Express, Pontefract and Castleford Express and Wakefield Express. Johnston Press (or via its agents) and its business partners may contact you about new promotions, products & services. Please add the word STOP at the end of your message if you do not wish to receive these. For quality and training purposes we may monitor communications.
