The Voice of 2010 rules

The Groups / bands category can consist of up to 6 people and can provide
their own backing track or play their own instruments.
1.bThe solo finalists will be required to provide their own backing
tracks to sing to in the final. Where possible the organisers will try to
assist in the acquisition of backing tracks.
2. Only one song entry will be accepted per person or group.
3a. Competition is open to non-professionals only.
b. Previous entrants may enter again
4. UK residents only.
5. Entrants must be available to attend the final on Monday 30th August.
6. By entering this competition and submitting an entry, you automatically give YWNG permission to publish the material on our websites and in paper.
7. Tracks to be no more than six minutes long.
8. In the event of more than one finalist having the same song, you may be asked to sing an alternative.
9. Entrants must supply an up to date photograph of themselves with their entry.
10. Finalists will be notified by phone on 16th August and would need to be available for an interview between the dates of the 17th - 23rd August.
11. Entries will be accepted in the following formats: · Song - via email or CD in MP3 format. · Photograph - Jpeg via email or hard copy to scan.
12. The closing date for all entries is Monday 26th July.
13. The Judges decision is final.
14. This is an online
competition only. 15.
YWNG will publish online a shortlist of the best entries and it is then up
to the public to vote for their final ten.
